US stocks are trading at their lowest level in more than a month as investors panic over the possibility of a Brexit vote.
The Dow Jones industrial average closed up 24.88 points, or 0.6%, at 20,868.25.
The S&P 500 lost 10.84 points, falling by 0.8%.
The Nasdaq composite lost 6.63 points, dropping by 1.9%.
The Dow and S&p both closed down 1.7% and 1.5% respectively.
The Dow’s loss is the worst since August of 2017, when the index fell 16.8% on concerns that the U.K. could leave the European Union.
The S&P 500, meanwhile, lost 5.6% to 3,845.60.
The Nason closed down 3.3%.
The Nasdaq index also lost 1.4%.
